Easily pleased!

Not technical photography I know, but I thought these bits of old glass were very pretty, Despite their being on the kitchen window sill for the last few years, I had forgotten them until I noticed them suddenly one morning this week and enjoyed them as though they were a new thing.

Fun guys! The hidden bits

There's an amazing world waiting to be discovered literally at our feet.

Firework finale

Didn't get to any firework displays this year but manage to take this picture from my bedroom window, which I quite like.

Reflections

The 2nd picture is of snow covered mountains reflected in the water on Rannoch Moor. This sight caused a sharp intake of breath because Rannoch Moor, on most of our trips to those parts, is misty and bleak and occasional gale-swept. To find it so still and beautiful was surprising.

October snow

Didn't actually manage to get out with my 'real' camera but took these with my phone. I liked the way all the trees had circles of green beneath them

Another big sky! and some early autumn colour

Autumn seems to be late this year but I like the contrast of the vibrant green and the rusty footpath

Big skies in early autumn

This is one of my favourites from this mornings walk I love the colours and the 'bigness' of the sky. I thought about it this morning when we were singing 'Were the whole realm of nature mine, that were an offering far too small'

Scotland

This picture was taken last October Half Term in Glen Nevis at the foot of Ben Nevis, and I'd like to be there right now, feeling the breeze and with the noise of the river and the smell of the rocks and the vegetation.

Coming Alive

Just a simple photograph from the garden in the morning that made me come alive. I love the way the camera helps me to see things that I might otherwise miss of God's creation:

Mysterious light

Not much to show from this mornings walk in terms of original photos so I have been playing around with some more downloaded software along the HDR lines makes for an interesting photo I think. (Software can be found at http://www.mediachance.com/hdri/index.html)

The end or the beginning?

This is the last stage of the hollyhocks in my garden for this year, but it looks as though there is hope for next year (or perhaps the one after).

Fungus and berries

Happy again as I managed to get out with my camera again in the bright morning sunshine to reveal more of natures beauty.
