Not technical photography I know, but I thought these bits of old glass were very pretty, Despite their being on the kitchen window sill for the last few years, I had forgotten them until I noticed them suddenly one morning this week and enjoyed them as though they were a new thing.

I think they look great too. I also wondered what effect you might get if you put them onto a piece of glass and shone a light up from below. Might try it myself if i can find our bits of coloured glass which Carole is always collecting!
That's a really good idea. A difficulty I had was getting enough light to catch the colours without the flash getting in the way. I tried it in water, out of water and from underneath the container. I look forward to your results.
